I think this is about a women who’s telling her true love that left her, that she would always be waiting for him. It’s about selfless love. I love her vocals in this song, I think she is probaly the greatest female singer ever, there are no more singers with that amount of passion in their voices anymore. She will always stay alive in our memories because of the musical legacy she left.
